I installed windows 8 from internets.

installer was screensaver.exe.

the os feels really slow and I can't see much difference to win 7.

my isp just called me and told to stop sending spam mail. wtf?!?!?

lmao....yeah i agree. Such a shame that alot of unexperienced users flahsed the lead firmware have some expensive paper weights this Monday morning. Im saving my PR 1.2 "virginity" until the real thing.

I downloaded and installed the beta 1.3 update for my n900.

How do I remove the update?

Everytime I switch it on it does this:

Guys, I installed this too because I was dissapointed with a few things, but the readme says that Win8 is only available when my monitor is turned off! I bought a second one and turned that one off instead but it still shows Win7, so tomorrow I'm going to buy a third one, I'll post back later and tell you if it works or not.

I'm confused. I installed Windows 8 on my N900 and it now refuses to boot. So do I blame Nokia or Microsoft?

to get windows 8 to boot right you have to load Android 2.1 first then use the bootloader from Webos and everything will work just right.

thought it was a good idea to try the Win 9 RC link now all my desktop is filled with porn pictures... darn and the N900 got it OTA, its asking to turn on the compass and switch off the ion-gun... wait its not asking anymore but where comes this ticking sound from now...

Thanks I tried that and now I can at least boot up. But the bootscreen now has a message asking me to put money into an escrow account so I can get an inheritance from a dead uncle in Nigeria. Problem is it only lists Paypal and I don't have that!!! Please tell me how I can send funds directly to a bank account, thanks.
