This machine has caused me so much stress. I don't even wanna tell you how embarassing it is. I'm actually going insane cause of this.

After my rootfs filled up, i got pissed, and did a bunch of xTerm commands.
Now my machine won't even operate properly. I can't web browse without the CPU going over the roof 100% CPU usage. I can't change pages, and now I can't even flash cause my pc has a USB HUB AND CAN'T INSTALL DRIVERS ON HARDWARE?

OMG, i really just wanna like fly away from technology and smash everything in my life right now. I'm so in distress.
Just please, direct your help to me, cause honestly im not gonna make it another day like this. I'll honestly die of exhaustion.

How can I fix this problem? Without re-flashing?
And if i need to reflash how do I fix my pc's USB hub?

You need to flash, I think. If you can't do it on your computer, you can do it on another computer. You can install Linux on a CD and do it from there.

You need to stay as calm as possible and ask questions if you get stuck. It's easy, but when you are in an emotional state, easy isn't easy.

You can get the flasher software from the Nokia site.

I have all the needed components to flash. But its like all the technology around me is preventing me from using my technology properly. Like goddamit. I was honestly going to smash my screen and pc. But geneven, honestly thanks for the serious post. Is there anyway to revert some of my files that have been moved from the rootfs to the opt back?
I used some thing called moveroot.sh .
And I think that has something to do with it.

Yeah, broski, im a 14 year old. I don't truly have issues, just alot of school, alot of life, the average kid. So please, don't go hating on people on there weakest point. Yeah, good luck with life and your ignorant selves.

Puh-leeze... You have no idea what you're in for if you can't handle that stuff and a buggered up N900. Try a full time job, 3 kids, a house/mortgage, 3 cars with insurance, and all the rest insanity that comes with being someone twice your age. School is easy bro compared to the rest of life after school.

Seriously, what was the point of posting all those negative comments? You could at least say "do a search," or something.

Jaastin, some of the community's just bitter about Nokia's strategy (no offense intended to anyone) to bring the general public to a platform which requires a higher level of knowledge in order to tweak.

If it makes you feel any better; I'm 14, and have been with the community, more or less, since OS2007. :o

This community would be great but its filled with humans and humans are even dangerous to themselves sometimes, full of sarcasm know it all freaks and people who like to lay down the law and because of the freedom everyone has on this community to be able to express in any way they feel fit, and because the moderating techniques on here are somewhat childish and in many cases non exsistent we have anarchy and self rightiousness leading to only one thing... a complete disaster sometimes.
I reckon 14 yr old kids could show a much better example of how to express oneself run a proper community and bring real life back in order ha.
Be glad your only 14 and learn by the antics of so called grown ups on here, enjoy and be happy cos hell i wish i had your youth AND a N900 at 14 years of age hehe.
