Looks like there is no way to close a page when in portrait mode. This is not a good design IMHO.

I would appreciate anyone providing a hack for this.

That is possible, but if you have multiple pages open it will close them all. Not that good if your on a page with pop up links that you want to surf

Well, the first thing to do would be to get the portrait mode to work. I have tried rebooting after shift+ctrl+r, but it doesn't work... What on earth is going on?

You can turn it on in the browser options

That will close *all* the web browser windows, rather than just the one wanted to close.

I guess we will have to be happy with the new buttons for now but it would be perfect if someone could hack a close button in there sometime in the future. Otherwise I really like PR1.2, so far no problems with my using

Lol, after waiting 4 months I was so exited about finally being able to browse the web with one hand. Imagine my disappointment when I found out, it's still totally unusable :(

You dont have to reboot after ctrl + shift + r. Just close the keyboard and turn the device and the browser should turn into portrait.

Isnt that a bit of a stretch ?
You can browse single pages at least. or do you HAVE to browse multiple pages single handedly ALWAYS ?

Criticize lack of featues of course but dont color it as a unhelful criticism ....
