Outlook Calendar sync issue
Is anyone else having issues when you sync Outlook's calendar to the N900 post-PR1.2?
All my appointments get added to my phone 3hrs early. Yet, if I create an appointment on my phone, and sync it back to Outlook, it syncs the appointment at the correct time. Both computer and phone are set to the same region and time zone. |
Re: Outlook Calendar sync issue
I am in this same situation. Unfortunately, nobody from Nokia Care Philippines can figure out what is wrong. My issue has been escalated four days ago.

Re: Outlook Calendar sync issue
no, all is fine. We have exchange 2003.
|
Re: Outlook Calendar sync issue
Mine is working fine both ways with Office 2003.

Re: Outlook Calendar sync issue
Just to confirm guys, are you all on PR1.2?
|
Re: Outlook Calendar sync issue
I have sync-issues too with Outlook Calendar.
Since upgrade to PR1.2 all my tasks are moved several month forward in time after sync with my N900. Reminder time is untouched but reminder is disabled on every task. Bloody annoying if you use tasks in Outlook as much as I do! |
Re: Outlook Calendar sync issue
I am on
V 10.2010.19-1 MS Outlook 2003 Still not working until now. :( |
Re: Outlook Calendar sync issue
I have the same problem, seems that sync is ignoring the time zone. Now I'm in GMT+2 tz and appointments are in GMT now, compared to original ones in Outlook calendar.

Re: Outlook Calendar sync issue
I checked the timezone setting on N900 (date&time settings via gui) and I changed it from manual to automatic . now the sync works well.
edit: I have PR1.2 |

might try reflashing tonight. |
Re: Outlook Calendar sync issue
Well, I can confirm this doesn't get fixed after a reflash of PR1.2. I can also confirm that I still have the bug when trying to sync to outlook 2007 both on windows 7 and vista.

Re: Outlook Calendar sync issue
I have the same problem. Using Outlook 2007 with latest FM 1.2.
My outlook is set at GMT+8 and the phone records everything 3 hours early. eg appointments at 8am are recorded as 5am on the phone. Reinstallation of FM had no effect. |
Re: Outlook Calendar sync issue
I can also confim having the same issue, appearing after updating to PR1.2.
Is there already a defect posted on this? |
Re: Outlook Calendar sync issue
Hi everyone,
I'm new here and unfortunately I have the same issue but with lotus notes. Cheers. |
Re: Outlook Calendar sync issue
Having the same issue, it started happening after FM 1.2. Any updates?

Re: Outlook Calendar sync issue
Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to check back on this thread. Has there been really no fix for this issue so far? Daily I have to manually change the times on my N900 because they would show up 3 hours earlier than the original entry in my calendar. I have checked if it has something to do with the time zone (GMT +8), but they are all set the same. I didn't have this problem with my last 3 N and E series phones. |
Re: Outlook Calendar sync issue
Just want to raise this thread again, any updates? Or any work around?
|
Re: Outlook Calendar sync issue
I have not found a fix for this. My guess is it won't get fixed as we are a minority....

Re: Outlook Calendar sync issue
similar issue here - with office 2007. the synchronisation works ok with the calendar appointments made in the same time zone (EET). if somebody makes an appointment from a different time zone, the difference is ignored, and the appointment in the phone calendar is the originators local time. e.g. if somebody from germany makes an appointment at 12 CET, it shows 13 EET in Outlook, but 12 EET in the N900 calendar.

Re: Outlook Calendar sync issue
Thanks, I need this fix too.

All times are GMT. The time now is 02:51. |
