How to download and save webpages to view later offlne?
I would like to view webpages offline to look at them in the future, so when I go to save page as and choose save the whole page then go back into file manager to open up the save webpages it asks me what program to choose to view so I choose web and it comes up wanting a internet conenction so I ignore it but the whole entire webpage doesnt complete and show up.
Does anyone know how to save webpages to view them later offline? |

if you have firefox there are also a number of add-ons which do that.

"Save Page As" doesn't work?
I do this from the PC and from the handheld all the time and just open the pages from the file manager. It would be cool though to have something that would pull in the linked pages to depth <n> like Plucker for wiki pages and such. |

apt-get install wget
mkdir /media/mmc1/offlineweb cd /media/mmc1/offlineweb wget -r -k -p siteyouwanttoreadoffline.com wget has many options for whatever you want to retireve, you can research many great tutorials online |
