[Announce] gTranslate works again
 

I just uploaded a new version of gTranslate to Extras-devel. Now translating works again and it's not displaying an error message every time you try to translate. I also added some settings for the speech synthesizer. :)

Hi, and thanks for the continued work. I can't see any speech synth settings within the app itself (I just downloaded from extras-deve). Do you need eSpeak or similar installed before this is available in gTranslate, or am I looking in the wrong place?

EDIT. Sorry, just realised that I updated qTranslate (which I already had installed), not gTranslate (which I don't). Guess that explains the lack of spech synth then ...

i just installed gtranslate awhile ago but unfortunately, it doesn't work for me. i tried to push the tramslate button but nothing happens.

It works again and you are asking for a solution. That solution would be for gTranslate to no longer work, or so?

You have to keep Internet connection UP while the application run.

Note if :installed kmod-ipv6support,

though if it were the default gate way of ipv6 with no connection,gTranslate use the gw and recognize your network as it's over ipv6.
Keep in your mind to type the following command before launch gTranslate,

gTranslate seems to not be working anymore.

Please enter valid text! error.

Without this i guess is not a traslator working for maemo.

I believe if you fire it up with a terminal, google has added a captcha which has broken it.
