Very Quiet

Guys,
I am on my 2nd N900 now and found them both the same, very quiet. Ring Volume & Ear volume when on a call up full are not loud at all. Has others found this and have any solutions?

Looks like another moderator is silent merging. Hey fellow mod: no need to merge, just kill the duplicates.

Duplicate threads merged. Coffee, do not open multiple threads for the same topic.

Merging allows me to leave temporary redirects, which help the thread creator see where his or her threads have gone. That in turn reduces the chance of the thread creator recreating the excess threads that have "mysteriously vanished".

My apologies.
I wasn't sure the appropriate place for starters and not sure if I would get the attention needed.

Do any of you guys have any suggestions?

Ive not had any issues yet.

Could be a network issue.

Book it in with a Nokia Service Centre.

And why do people do such things?
Warning: This question and its answers lead straight to misanthropy.

great job. if uncertain, shout it out multiple times.... hope you learned your lesson.

next thing: we aren't nokias support portal that has 35 second delay for ansvering every question. you either wait or call to nokia directly with your problems...

Re: Very Quiet

The reason the N900 is "quiet" is because the hole for the audio is not where the speaker is situated as the speaker is situated to one side of the hole some distance away so if you could move either the hole or the speaker ajacent to eachother then the audio will be much louder, there is actually a way to do this and that is simply to drill a hole above the speaker as it is not easy to move the speaker but would mean 2 holes..... upto you but there is the answer to your problem ok.
