check this out fellows here is what i made in last two days But there is still problem to be honest as it turns out voltage out of n810 is lower than the desktop computer. so it didnt run the motors. today im working on it to get it powered up with an external battery |
Re: NarDuino:An Rc Car controlled by N810
no responds??!?!?!
come on fellows |
Re: NarDuino:An Rc Car controlled by N810
Very cool! More details would be welcome.
I've been working on a somewhat similar project - using an N900 to generate PPM signals to control an R/C airplane using the accelerometer. |
Re: NarDuino:An Rc Car controlled by N810
yes im gonna write more information and details here
when the voltage problem solved im gonna a record a video you can follow ongoing process here http://www.arduino.cc/cgi-bin/yabb2/...num=1278269335 |
Re: NarDuino:An Rc Car controlled by N810

here is a demo video first i turn on and off leds then i run the motor it runs after i send the command to run the motor reverse arduino and n810 communication ends that's the issue we are trying to solve |
Re: NarDuino:An Rc Car controlled by N810
N810 would only be able to suuply 100-200mA or so, your motors would most likely draw many times this, and even more if you throw it from forward into reverse..

Re: NarDuino:An Rc Car controlled by N810
Hey this is pretty cool. You should stream image from that front camera when you control it. :P

Re: NarDuino:An Rc Car controlled by N810
You sir, you are a true geek. I salute you :)
Great job. |
Re: NarDuino:An Rc Car controlled by N810

Re: NarDuino:An Rc Car controlled by N810
wow it's not only streaming images but also sound.
i luv maemo!! |
Re: NarDuino:An Rc Car controlled by N810
yuppi coreplayer works with sdp :)
but now i need to make some changes in the python script i run on n95 to send commands.to make it responsive while it is in background.meanwhile im watching video stream on coreplayer |

Re: NarDuino:An Rc Car controlled by N810
Looks awesome!
I did something similar with my Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0. Connected the Legos to my N900 via bluetooth and python. SSH'd onto N900 via Ubuntu. Used Qik to stream videos (few seconds of lag) and controlled the Legos from my computer over wifi. |
Re: NarDuino:An Rc Car controlled by N810
wow, that's cool. I need to do something like this with my old n800.
