See this wiki entry but its not simple.

It is indeed possible but a bit tricky if your not used to the command line.

Does your computer have wifi? If so, you could set up an ad hoc connection.

Oyy yes i set up a ad-hoc it was eazy but when i Connect to the internet it says server not found or i try to donload something from app manager ! It say some packages that are required are missing ! - xbitmaps and libxaw7!!
help me please why is this like that !!

Well, though I have connected my N900 to the internet trough my laptop a few times I'm using Windows 7 and a great program called Connectify (which unfortunately is for Win7 only).

I can't guide you through the process since I don't know Vista but you need to share your internet connection also (you've probably done this). I suggest you first try to make a connection without authentication.

And in further bad news there was at some point a thread around here about people not being able to connect their N900s over ad hoc with vista after the PR 1.2 update...

If no one else can help then google is your only friend, I'm afraid. Good luck though.

You can put a better thread name suggesting the problem rather than just "please help" so that people who are wantin or facing similar issues can search this.

Just get a wireless router.
Some ISP's even give this out when you first take out internet.

Otherwise you will have to use some kind of usb wireless device, and then bind both adapter...
