Useless or not u can see the sidewalk while texting and not stepping in something nasty or fall into a hole :))

*very* hard to read your own text...if it was there for the N900 I wouldn't use it...I kinda like my text input fields to have a solid, one-colour background...

How about just standing still or sitting down while texting?

Some like, others not. Certain things should not generalize or classify them by personal preference.

I expect from Maemo-maniacs the pros and cons without shaking spirits or generalizations.

Have you wondered why he didn't walk down the stairs in the video while texting, although he could see them through the app? I guess watching the world through a camera is just too dangerous for things like this. :)

Enough bickering over an idea you may or may not approve of - you're just one of many.

I like the idea - there's an app or three for it like that on the iPhone and Android, why not for the Maemo 5 platform?

Who's up to the task since Nokia will never deliver it?
