Just trie and get an error on theie site. Is nothing ever working when it comes to getting apps onto the n900:mad:

Apparently it's currently only working for users in the US.

Took a little futzin' around to get it done, but I got it to work. I am in the US. Works well and a good deal.

you can do it using an us proxy! I did it myself.

Another advice: register with the same serial and activation code from viewer edition but make sure you are not connected to the internet when you do it. that should do the trick!

Was able to install. Dataviz provided this as free upgrade (thanks!) to those who had purchased the viewer edition - which I really appreciate.

The one thing I am missing is the ability to spellcheck a Word document. If I can edit a document, then chances are that I will introduce spelling mistakes. Which means I still use OpenOffice on the N900.

Just use a service to hide your "ip" like ztunnel....hang on!!!

& untick the

Remove cookies
Remove Scripts
Hide referrer information
Show URL form

I think they cause the page to not load well

& just browse as normal.

Provided you bought the viewer version,

*just log in with your details
*click on my acct
*click on the first option there: (Your Registered Software and Download Links)
*select the option upgrade available
* add to cart

& the rest is clockwork

the activation key does change so its not just a case of using the viewer one cuz it just wont match!!

Doubt you'd have a problem with upgrading if you follow these steps

& as a bonus you can now watch all those US tv series online without getting any region restrictions using ztunnel or vtunnel! Is that Cool or what!!!


oops!! Think I should also mention that i did it and it worked for me!

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but even if you buy the Viewer edition today, you still get an upgrade to Premium?

I went through the dataviz site upgrade process with no issue. They sent me a link to the software for the upgrade (which redirected to Ovi). When I try to install the premium software, I get an "unable to install DocstoGo" error from the application manager. Any suggestions on how to get past this? I tried deleting Viewer edition, and restarted my N900, but still get the same error.

Anyone has any idea when it will be available for the international user? im from malaysia and have purchased the viewer edition. Installed the premium trial and tried to activate but failed..now im stuck with a 30day trial :)

I imagine not. Would suck if you had to purchase Viewer and then Premium....

Well I am in New Zealand and I did as described above and it worked great. I could not get the download from the link in the last stage using ztunnel as it just did not work. I did get an email and clicked on that link which has you eventually end up at ovi store. Then just downloaded the trial and followed install instructions, entered registration key and it was accepted. Premium works fine. Thanks

If anyone has had issues with their free upgrade then give it another try. Yesterday Dataviz fixed the issue international customers were having. I now have a fully working premium version.
