N900 problem after hard rests....EMMC hard reset
 

hello guys.. i hard reset flasher-3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_1.2009.41-1.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin -f -R to my N900, after hard reset when i boot my n900 its displays everything only in rectangle square box... how to change into normal view(English menu view)... help me

Did you flash rootfs also?

Now go to the link posted and flash the phone the right way. Flashing two times the eMMC is wrong. Its normal to not boot properly in this scenario. First you flash the root without reboot then the eMMC.

!!!When flashing the eMMC content, always flash the FIASCO/Rootfs image and then flash the eMMC. Do not boot up the device between the two i.e do NOT use the -R parameter at the end!!!

what is the parameter for FIASCO/Rootfs image.,,, and parameter for eMMC can u give me parameter plz

hi guys,

i am sorry but I am having the same issue. I used the eMMC image for flashing the fiasco image first without rebooting and then flashed the eMMC with the same image. Now my phone comes with the square symbols. I cant see any other image for flashing the fiasco. Can you guys please help

I NEED HELP.. please help me.. :( yesterday I played with my n900 and was into the filebox app and then i happened deleted some dictionaries and today when i reboot the n900 it didnt work normal... and i tried to hard reset it which i have did it manny times.
I tried to flash firmware and it worked but when i tried to flash MMC it didnt work.. :(
I tried a lot of times to flash both firmware and MMC, but MMC doesnt reflash... i found out that when i try to flash MMC and when I press enter to start flashing, the usb logo dissappears on the n900 screen and that happens everytime i try to flash the MMC.. can you tell me what the problem could be please I need help please.. :( :(

you flashed the same image 2 times, you have to flashed the vanilla AND the firmware pr 1.3

Thanks for your replay! What do i need to do now to make it work... i dont understand now what to do... i really need help.. :( Will my phone never be able to be hard reset ever...? :(
