Re: 0-60mph times app

get someone else to time you =P

why do you need an app anyway? can't you just check the 0*60 speed on the internet??

Re: 0-60mph times app

No specific app, you could use a GPS tracker to record the speed time on a gpx file and then 'back work' it to see how long it took from 0-60. Well, 0-62 really as thats more recognised these days.

hah no,cars time deteriorate over time (wear and tare) the times can be better if u do mods on the car...cant tell what the times are then without a proper timer

Re: 0-60mph times app

It looks nice.

I have one suggestion. Add the vehicle type/description.

I've seen the times on the website and they're no match for my motorcycle. So to be fair you should at least make two categories. One for motorcycles and one for cars. But i guess more should be supported.

You can enable Extras-devel temporarily and install it from there using application manager. That's what I did... :)

EDIT: I did not get an icon to application list. I had to run in from Xterminal (speedfreak). Is this correct that it doesn't create icon?

try without sudo gainroot. if it doesn't work, you need to use run-standalone
Code:

run-standalone.sh speedfreak
M5 ui style isn't used by default for superuser.

Re: 0-60mph times app

Oh well yes you can run it without rooting

just type speedfreak .. works for me

and about the background , i don't see anything white , but i do see that few icons are not clickable and 2 of them are not showing their full icon image , must be buggy ..

The Speed Freaks homepage icon is half seen like broken kind of .( the one at the top left )

and the Users Button is too small to click

Also another bug : After i click new run , after i finish doing the first test , the program just crashes and brings me back on to the desktop .

Agreed, things are out of alignment and buttons or textboxes are too small. I made a typo and can't changed my profile afterward. Would be nice if there is a 1/4mile timing with GPS binding as well. Right now it is using accelerometer and it would be more accuate with GPS Binding in the measurement as well.
