have you checked your rootfs?sounds like it might be full.
type df in xterm to check.

This happens to me too with HAM. I can comfrim that it is caused by the amount of space (or lack of it) in /home since removing something from there lets me update and install apps again. And BTW I have 54,1 MB free in my RootFS.

what did u remove from /home ? like what ?
and i guess its a thing in extra devel cuz if u try to download any app from ovi it won't let u unless u disabled extra devel

You'll need to remove something from under /home - /home/opt is probably the place to start, as I doubt there'll be anything very large under /home/user. Try running "du -hsx /opt/*" and look for anything taking up a lot of space.

Re: annoying bug msg "not enough memory in application memory"

du -hsx /opt/* is all the app i have and some of them are large and some are small in size but either ways in option -- memory -- i have about 210 MB in application install memory !
is it like a virus in extra devel ?

Re: annoying bug msg "not enough memory in application memory"

ave yoy tried uninstalling any of ur apps? start with the largesst first, to do it in xterm as root type apt-get remove (name of app) and then apt-get clean to remove any leftovers.
It is always best to install or remove one app at a time that way ones with any potential problems are easilt identified

Also there is no virus in extras devel, it should work fine along side all other catalogues including devel,
however once you sort out this problem either through manualy deleting files or through a full reflash i suggest you leave the testing and devel repo's alone,
testing is not so bad, but anyone regularly installing from extras devel should first know how to and secondly be prepared to reflash
the warnings are plain to see and if u missed them u have been told now devel can seriously mess up your phone
