makes me want to cry. me and my n900 have been best buds. he stoped me from drunk driving with its battery low thing that made me think it might be the phone telling me to take a taxi. yeah i love it.But the n9 is like a monster,holy ****. i dont understand why nokia always does this. make a device with amazing **** but always missing something. pisses me off. just the n95. then the n95 8gb, why couldnt you do that in the begining, i might get the n9 or im changing this stupid nokia madness. Samsung Vibrant might be the new one or the famous nexus one.

N9 = Failed (if they packed old stuff in the case) The designed looks terrible, why would you want a 4.5 to 5inces device with only 3.5inces screen size? What a waste of precious screen spacing

ppl need to stop crying about specs of device when the N9 dont exist yet and therefore no specs announced, there is 100 different sites and all have a different spec list for N9 so stop believing all you read.
even the site whereN9 pictures originated from have various different spec lists, it was a second build prototype and guy said the new revised blueprint makes him go WOW

PEOPLE!! Rumours are not always reliable... Speculation is just a guess made by someone. So there is no official confirmation of the Nokia N9 spec nor it's existance from Nokia yet. Best bet is to wait and see.

Don't trust blogs and speculators. They start rumours, build expectations around these rumour then are disappointed when they are proven wrong. The latest headline I saw today was that the N9 has been delayed. Blogs keep the Nokia-haters well fed.

You can only trust official Nokia sites like conversations.nokia.com.

i have to agree with the virtual keyboard. it seems it wasn't well implemented. it's a hit and miss so it loses it's reliability over the hardware keyboard...

but what do you mean by the music player? have you tried the other multimedia players?

If Nokia can't bring a device more powerful than a consumer MP3 player then Nokia will die in hell for sure. We might not see Nokia bankrupt real soon if they don't push their speed.

Seriously even an Ipod touch is far more powerful than the N900 :D What more do we all have to say? Nokia really shhitting a hard poo right now. Don't just want our moneys and be greedy. Provide us the device that at least 20% better than that Ipod touch in term of Screen, Processor and smooth OS.

Other manufacturers have announced dual-cores and phones using those. What Nokia does, however, is launch underpowered devices like the N8. I just don´t get it...

And by the time 1.5GHZ dualcore snapdragon begins shipping, late 2011, there will be probably half a dozen quad core 2GHz processors announced, that begin shipping early 2013.

There's always something better announced, but you have to design hardware with whatever you can actually buy.

*It has a minimum screen size of 4"
*The os is MeeGo.
*It won't use a snapdragon processor.

I really want to see the irony in your post, but can't catch it. I though ability to actually do stuff makes device "powerful", not the specs it's running. So, how many more things can you do with an Ipod compared to N900 to call it "more powerful"?

There were some doubts about N9 some people claim that the leaked photo is actually E8 , new business flagship not N9 , but in some photos screen was showing MeeGo desktop ......

Snapdragon is not a CPU, it's the name Qualcomm uses for their hardware platforms and they actually use ARM CPUs, the same way Texas Instruments does with OMAP which also uses ARM, even Iphone in all its models uses ARM CPUs.

ARM only designs the CPU architecture for other companies to make.

Check out the ipod Touch4, you'll see what I meant in term of hardware spec. Tell me if i'm wrong, to me i see a powerful processor in there and 720p HD even from a 3mp camera. Tell me if N900 can watch HD? correct me if i'm wrong. N900 OS is powerful but lacked of support from Nokia, also lack of applications, lack of optimisation, lack of HD support...list goes on.

Ok, it's basically the iPhone 4 minus cellular.

The processor is essentially the same as the one in the N900, albeit probably a newer process allowing it to be faster and more power efficient. That happens.

It can't, but then, neither can the iProduct devices. The power simply isn't there.

So have you sold your N900 and bought your iProduct yet?
