How to remove NITdroid from N900
 

Hi All,

I want to remove NITDroid from my device n900. can any one please help me removing the same.

I have installed NITDroid on 4 GB Scandisk card.

Hey Sahil... how long hav u been using Nitdroid and y do u want to uninstall it ?
im using nitdroid as well but for some reason i aint getting sms n wen i answer the call i cant hear anything. let me know if you are facing any other issue as well just to be on the safer side : )

Yaa the same prbs I m getting bt my reason for uninstalling the NITDroid is not related with any prbs.. I just want to install the fully loaded Nitdroid not at this moment which is on testing mode..

Moreover I m w8ng for the week of Meego whn it will be going to introduce first release of Meego 1.1 in the market..

N900 is baap of all fones... and Android is really awesome. yea evn i want to uninstall and install once again... evn the games r so ****ing kewl.... will try Meego as well but i feel Android will be far better than Meego ...lets c

What I feel about Android is no doubt its good but at my end.. neither i m able to instal themes nor able to install asphalt 5 or need for speed. so better to stick on Maemo n w8 for Meego.. I have seen the live operation of Meego Last visit to US.

Its awesome gonna hit the android market badly.

Installation of asphalt 5 is slightly different. You click on asphalt 5 from a web browser and dl some more files and it will work. It works fantastic on my n900

I tried bun but didnt work out..

n more over.. at this time.. i want to uninstall NITDroid please help me for the same.

in xterminal
command:

root
mount /dev/mmcblk1p2 /and -o noatime
nitdroid-uninstaller

after complete, format yours sd card

Once I run the above the above code an uninstall NTDroid.

Can I then simply reflash my phone to run the standard PR1.2 Kernel or do I need to remove dual boot first if so how so?

Can u tell how can i format my MicroSD card. I have removed the NITDroid but dont know the command for formatting the microsd

- uninstall multiboot

if you use Windows PC i'm recommended a command "DISKPART"
and format to FAT32.

Ex.
c:\ diskpart

- list disk
- select disk [disk number]
- list volume
- select volume [volume number]
- delete volume
and
- create volume [type] [size MB]

or use windows just click and create and format.

or put your SD card on your digital camera and format :P

Hey Guys,

I have got few problems,

1. I uninstalled nitdroid by using following commands
root
mount /dev/mmcblk1p2 /and -o noatime
nitdroid-uninstaller

UNINSTALLATION DONE BUT THE ACTUAL PROBLEM CAME WHEN I RESTARTED PHONE.

1. Not able to run Maemo Even.
2. The message showing is :
"Please select the option following" where as there is no option.

Please do help me to run Maemo again..

Try inputing 0... shud load default kernel i.e. maemo

ensure u uninstall multiboot and uninstall nitdroid then it will run maemo smoothly like normal boot phone

I need help guys.. i have installed Nitdroid on n900 and it runs fine but the problem is that the 32GB storage and sd card just doesnt exist to use... i can see the 32gb storage and card memory when i get in to settings but there is no way to get into it.. i cant just use it.. its like a phone without any storage.. help me please...

Try re-formatting the drive. The SD Drive that is. Just be careful to make sure you have everything you want saved to another location. I had my email marketing software synced up with my phone when I did the same thing and neglected to remember all of the important information I had on the SD card.

Hi i have tried these steps but it gives error device or resource is busy.. can anyone help me on this
