We i have this make. that is important the number Smilies (Menu_count) and the number of the menu is correct (Menu_rows Menu_cols).
Bsp:
Menu_count = 35
Menu_rows = 5
Menu_cols = 7

Then the Smilie and desen instructs. the first instruction is sent and all different only in the mobile phone is translated.

Thanks. Of course the person receiving the message at the other end will likely not see the same smiley that the sender chose.

ok any smilies you can not see....but all works whit IM skype icq msn.... and the defult can 12 too... and the bye and sing and dance smilie send *bye* *musik* *dance*.... its ok for the understanding... sry my engl. is not so good......
i have read thats many people thats searce and only i have a nice good working mod write..
design its better as windows live smilie. thats full bad... and other doesnt work whit pr1.2
but its not fin.. its beta but its work 100%...

Hallo, ich denke mal du kommst aus Deutschland, bzw deine Muttersprache ist deutsch?
If your motherlanguage is not german, please write it in the answer.
Ich habe dein Smileypackage gesehen und war echt begeistert. Nur leider versteh ich den installationsvorgang nicht.
Kannst du mir den nochmal schritt für schritt erklären?

Wir habe ich dieses machen. Wichtig ist, dass die Zahl Avatare (Menu_count) und die Anzahl der Menüpunkte korrekt ist (Menu_rows Menu_cols).
Bsp:
Menu_count = 35
Menu_rows = 5

Klicken Sie auf diese Leiste, um das ganze Bild.

Dann wird der Smilie und desen beauftragt. die erste Anweisung gesendet wird und alle anderen nur in der Handy übersetzt wird.

senden: -)
Lesen Sie: -):): =): -)):)) =] =)))

Mein Problem aber ist das es nicht an der englischen Sprache liegt, sondern daran das ich das generell nich verstehe ;)
Muss ich da was ins X-Terminal eingeben oder so?

Wie das mit X-Term geht weil ich nicht genau.
Habs mit WinSCP gemacht. Da kannste ins Handysys wie mit den Winexplorer........

Was du brauchst ist ein USB Stick für den PC und du musst ein
Ad hoc Netzwerk einrichten. Dann musst du das alles machen::

Dann kannste eig. alles Moden Button Batterien das komplette System halt is wirklich cool u macht fun...xd Ich versuche gerade Das Design von dem Conversation Inbox Widget zu ändern aber das ist auch richtig schwer... Hat bis jetzt auch keiner geschaft.. Mal schauen vieleicht schaffe ich das ja auch als erstes :)

Bin eigtl eher der Download and Install-Typ und habs nich so mit ins System eingreifen etc. Kann eigtl nich mit Linux, bin aber begeistert von meinem 900 ;)
Ich werds aus Liebe zu meinem Phone aber mal versuchen =)
Und dir viel Erfolg beim umgestalten, ich denk ja mal das die Ergebnisse hier dann nich lange auf sich warten lassen ;)

Was zum Teufel is das für ne Übersetzung??? Da war ja das Englische noch besser verstänndlich. ;) Aber egal, das Smiley-Pack ist klasse und funktioniert bestens.

- Download the two files
-extract
-and then copy all files to their appropriate directories (I prefer using WinSCP)

SR Smilies.def goes to
/usr/share/rtcom-messaging-ui/smilies/user

skype.def
/usr/share/rtcom-Messaging-ui/smilies/service

Pics 48x48.png go to
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/hildon

Pics 24x24.png go to
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/24x24/hildon

-now in Conversations under Settings -> Smileys Theme - choose "SR Smilies"

And you're done!!!

I have a problem. N900 does not seem to recognize the symbol of :((

:(( <---this is a crying face icon for Yahoo messenger. But N900 displays a sad face with (

OR

:)) <---this is a laughing face icon for Yahoo messenger. N900 displays a happy face with )

I can not fix it!! Anyone know?
It seems like N900 ONLY recoginze :) or :( and NOT :)) or :((

1. Open the file SR Smilies.def with the editor
2. delete:) : (etc. however then can smilie-read only:)) : ((however no more:) : (
3. it stop beta and everyone must adapt for itself individually! contained however nearly everything spoke ......

Was ist mit folgendem Satz gemeint?:

Heisst dass, bevor man eine SMS schreibt, muss man immer unter Einstelleungen die Smilies auswählen? Werden diese nicht zu den Standard-Smiles hinzugefügt?

i'm new. where are those places (/usr/share/rtcom-messaging-ui/smilies/user and other 3). i downloaded 2 zip files and unzip it, but i can't find the places.

install a program called FileBox, you will understand what to do after you have it. the directories you cannot see now will become visible to you with this program.

1 - Download zip attached
2 - extract "usr" folder to root directory, replacing all files (BACKUP FIRST)
3 - reboot
4 - go to Conversations > Settings > Smileys Theme > select "SR Smilies"
5 - done


All I have done is repackage the original MOD. Nothing else.
