Ovi Store access on N900 after PR 1.3?
 
I tried asking on the other thread (PR 1.3 live...) but it kinda got lost. Can you access Ovi Store on your N900?

I went to these links but none worked:

The first one told me to update to PR 1.3 while I already did it. The second link says that ovi store for my device is currently not available.

Can anyone just check again? (Remember to go to those links on your N900)

I tried both links on my N900, and they worked fine. I am using PR 1.3

Yeah, I did. However, I used tweaked flash version before, although I already restored the original and uninstalled it. Also, I updated through FAM, not HAM.

Doesn't work on Opera either. I wonder what they use to detect devices? Flash?

If so, can you post your exact flash version after checking from here?

I'm not sure if that would make a difference or not. I did a complete re-flash so I could start fresh.

I did a full flash, then re-installed my programs from a back-up. Flash tweaker was not included in the first set of programs. Once I rebooted, it allowed me to install the rest of my programs. Once I did the second run of installs, the appman gave me 12 updates, including an update to power kernel and flash tweak. Both are working fine for me, and so is swappolube.

I guess it's just a repo error.

Oh, did you have to update the distro to fremantle 1.3 instead of 1.2? (I don't have extras enabled in HAM cause it's too slow, I use FAM).

Anyone knows how Ovi detects the N900? All things on the flash side seem to check out, but I can't still access it.

I have "Hide User Agent" too, but I set it to Maemo Browser like default.

Yeah, that's what the default in "Hide User Agent" in case it needs to restore the original. I never changed that, just hide or show the agent. And I never had this problem before the update to PR 1.3.

first of all that is not the default user agent. default user agent is something like

and with hideuseragent you can not hide user agent, only modify it. so remove the modified UA and try again.

(or try every permutation of flash version from 1.0.0 to 11.0.0 and see if it helps)

OK, I removed Hide User Agent and now it works. Thank you.
It's weird cause I never had this problem before, and I haven't used Hide User Agent for months, and have been able to access Ovi Store recently.

then you have had the custom UA removed and stock one in place.

(in other words: you have pressed "Remove" in Hide User Agent settings -dialog...)

im having same issue..

its redirecting me to maemo.nokia.com/ovi-store-promo/

dont have hide user agent installed. but i have tweak flash utility set to LNX 10,1,53,0
