don't know how to install this game
 

can someone help me? i was big fan of fighter of street. and i just find out that n900 can play this game. that makes me very excited, but i dont know how install this game.

1. at your own risk, be very careful.

First of all you'd need to install the CPS2 Emulator which is in devels atm so Install at your own risk.

Heres the direct link to that Emulator

Also you need copy your zipped ROMs to the /MyDocs/ROMs/CPS2 folder on your N900 after you have installed the game.

The game your looking for will most likley be on www.rom-world.com. If not snoop around and i thing the game your talking about is called "Street Fighter"

Let me know how you get on.

I would seriously recommend backing up everything too. You don't need to do your music pic etc. That's safe just the main things.

The installer will fail through App Manager unless you have made the CPS2 rom folder first.

i have this phone for about 7 months , i only use it for calls,internet browse,music&video,in car i use the sygic maps and for music...and am very happy with it.
But there is my limit , am total newbie at linux and i cant do much more then the things iv said...is there any simple way to use all the powe of the n900 ? for example i also want to play street fighter , but everything i see is USE AT UR OWN RISK ! RISK! RISK! BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP !!!
am reading this forum every day,but damn its hard to understand you what u are talking about...all this terms u are using are new to me...
i dont want to post here for every quest i have , but god damn its hard to understand...all this.

You will have to read.
And read.
And read again.

So, READ ANOTHER TIME, and try to follow the instructions.

N900 is wonderful. But you must want to study it.

Another way, don´t know, buy a iPhone.

try using packages that are ready for end user
extra-devels contains packages that are almost ready hence there is risk it might make your device go weird
extra-testing consists of packages currently being developed and which are not ready for end user ,its mainly for testers and there is lot more risk in using them, so it's adviced to keep away from them untill u know what to do.

thats why there is BACKUP BAKUP ! and USE AT YOUR RISK

does it need to update PR1.2 to PR1.3. if it does, then i tell you guys (pro) one thing that is i really don't know how to get PR1.3. i have tried to update it through application mangager, but no luck (in US), then i spent 2 hours trying to update through OVI, one again i got failured by code:1216 (not sure those numbers because i forgot them)
if someone make a clip how to update to PR1.3, i really appriciate it.

This works fine with 1.2. I am a UK user so I cant get 1.3 yet.

there are many "street fighter" use Mame,Super Nintendo... which one should i download?
