I did flash it and flash emmc and now the phone doesn't work :( i turned it on but its giving me a background pic called MISSING IMAGE i did first connect the device while holding U then i wrote the command flasher-3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_2.2009.51-1_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin -f -R that flash went ok then i thought why dont i flash the emmc so the whole thing will be fresh then i used the command flasher-3.5.exe -F RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin -f -R I'm using windows vista and all images are downloaded to flasher folder guys plz help me what am I suppose to do now :( |

Re: Problem :(
When flashing the eMMC content, always flash the FIASCO/Rootfs image and then flash the eMMC. Do not boot up the device between the two i.e do NOT use the -R parameter at the end!

Re: Problem :(
Flash the rootfs again but remove the "-R" at the end.
Then flash E-mmc. |
Re: Problem :(
we need automatic flasher for pr1.3
i know there is one but its only for pr1.1 and pr 1.2 |
Re: Problem :(
not to mention that i tried to reflash it again using the same commands but its not working its giving me file names then showing me the menu of the flasher commands
all of sudden I noticed that I'm typing small case r instead of R when i used capital R it worked magic happens guys :D |
Re: Problem :(
thnx to everyone who responded to me
but here is the deal on the wiki its asking u to remove the R to flash the emmc i did but it didn't work untill I included the R! anyhow device is fine now thank u guys for the support but the security code is still the same? does that mean my EMMC didn't flash sucessfuly? and how can i format the memory card through the N900? |
Re: Problem :(
Don't such an old firmware with such a new EMMC image
you're using firmware from 2009 and an EMMC image from April 2010? Why? Use the most recent firmware 20.2010.36 and the most recent EMMC (10.2010.13) First flash the OS (20.2010.36) DONT specify -R on the command line Then without rebooting or touching the phone flash the EMMC (10.2010.13 VANILLA) and DO specify -R on the command line |
Re: Problem :(
Cpitchford I'm using the new versions for both but this comment here show the old version cuz i copied it directly from wiki page
but thnx for the headz up :) |
Re: Problem :(
*phew* :)
Old firmware does nasty things to N900s.. downgrading tends to upset stuff, so hearing you're using the new one is a good thing :) |
Re: Problem :( N900 not working after flashing
one more thing DeaTHY you dont need to type the whole filename :)
just type commands correctly. For example before flashing I changed the names to e.bin and pr13.bin its much easier that way ;) |
Re: Problem :( N900 not working after flashing
Well can someone please confirm the size of the rootfs image after flashing? Mine is at 56% and it really bugs me up cozlast night, my mobiles rootfs suddenly shot up to 100% and There seemed to be nothin i could do about it. Earlier I had around 68% free space but now even after flashing, there isnt enough place for all my apps. can someone assist me on this?
Just let me know the free space and size of a fully flashed n900 Open terminal and type: Code:

Re: Problem :( N900 not working after flashing
i always flashed the emmc first, and used the same command for both emmc and firmware, did that for fw 1.1 and 1.2
