Problem with charge or may be battery
 

hi guys i got this prob with my phone every-time i charge it its 90.9 charged and the LED light is already green and not charging anymore. The charge lasts only for an hour even not even using it. This freaking phone turns off after the charge reaches to 14%
can anybody tell me what is wrong with my phone??

How many hours of use do you get out of it?
Do realize that the "maximum" and "minimum" values are -guesses- at best, and are often -far- off.

yh dude i know how much i get if use internet then it lasts only 45 mins but normal use like stand by it lasts only 2 or 2 and half hours :(

Thank you. This sounds like a faulty battery. With a good battery you should still get a good 2 hours very heavy usage. Are you using a genuine Nokia battery? Even if you are I would suggest getting a new one from a reputable seller (so you can be confident it is not a fake). And if you have one available (a few other Nokias use the same battery as the N900) you may want to test with a different battery first.

thats what i thought at first place yeah may be i should buy a new battery
and yeah the battery is genuine it was too much warm a few days back may be thats the main cause

Are you sure it's not just something that's causing a lot of CPU usage ? please install and run conky or top.

If it was lasting 2-3 hours, then maybe it could. Since it only lasts 45 minutes when being used, it's got to be something else.

dudes i was using internet i mean like both firefox and opera and also chatting so the battery was too much warm for like an hour and i got this phone like six months ago so its a bit new
