I'm not fan of Symbian^3 or N8, though I admire its large camera.

Nevertheless, more articles in Qt wiki mean better documentation, and more Qt code examples mean potentially more applications.

Well, I already have a free "phone" (namely, N900) from Mozilla, so I don't need a free N8. And I don't really know Qt. And I don't enjoy Symbian.
So I would like some people here to take part and prove to Nokia you are interested in Qt.

Here is list of users who created more than one new article during November.
skumar_rao 18 (mostly code, rarely illustration, practically no explanations and references)
chintandave_er 11 (beautiful and thorough)
flycarl 8 (short, in Chinese)
zhouhl 5 (short, in Chinese)
Maveric 5 (Javascript library; not long; some non-finished)
Abhijeet30 4 (not-long)
r60600 3 (2 of the articles just report errors/misprints in Nokia Qt SDK demos and examples)
‎oviisabel 3 (short; in Chinese; diagram, FAQ and one line; no code examples)
hamishwillee 1-2 (good long article, with one subarticle)
‎neois 2 (Symbian vibration and submitting to Ovi store)
razvanpetru 2 (long, useful, well-structured)
seppo_fn 2 (Nokia employee?; one featured article and one about bug fixes)

So in top ten by quantity some people have written only two articles.
Only seven articles related to QML were written.
In fact, the more people participate, the more Nokia N8 devices will be given away.

So, couldn't you write two or three good articles about Qt during the remaining time? Not necessarily long, but with enough explanations and links to documentation to explain the common mistakes of Qt beginners.

Where are the developers? I'm afraid they are just silent.

You're seem really determined to get people involved in this contest Wikiwide, are you on commission or something? :p Only 85 mins to go now folks.

I'd love a chance of a free N8 but it's a bit late to start something now, in fact im not even registered on the site :p Hopefully someone with some code nearby can push an article or two onto the wiki, with a little luck you never know...

N8 can always be sold to get N9 later.

I don't know maybe he copied the article from somewhere but it's completely on-topic. He just eagerly wants to get an N8, and doesn't have enough money.

Lack of money is most likely the only thing linking him and Nigerian scammers.

There are no bad countries, there are just bad people and bad governments. And even then, bad from one point of view is good from another.

There are no new articles appearing right now on Forum's Wiki. Is it night in their time-zone?

First, you can hardly win by copying information directly from existing website, even if the license is appropriate: it's not new information.

Second, it seems that contribution is judged both by quantity and quality of articles: your chances are higher if you write at least two new non-copied articles long and detailed enough to be considered informative.

You can always try to. Any contribution to wiki is welcome. Later it can be expanded by other users.

The competition is going to be more tight...
Nokia should give at least ten prizes, better fifteen, taking speed of writing into account.
Though at least last five articles have only source code and illustrations, no explanations.
Who can write a good how-to for beginners, related to Qt?
