Looks good to me; I would have liked more than just a single button though.

What is the origin of this concept -- is it anywhere close to anything Nokia might be working on?

Looks like a cross between iPhone and Blackberry. Maybe an iBerry.
No keyboard and wheres the keyboard.
Did I mention I need a keyboard?

Doesn't look bad, I still prefer all black like the N900.
4" screen? What resolution?

least it dont look like a brick. looks more like N97'ish......... but wheres the physical keyboard? ;)

doesnt look too bad. almost everything looks iphonish to me but thats just my opinion. plus i prefer onscreen keyboard to a physical one. again thats just my opinion.

Did you expected N900 successor like this?

No.

A successor would have a full QWERTZ!
A successor would have 1024 x 480 pixel resolution
A successor would have at least 1,5 Ghz
A sussessor would have Flash 10.1 on it

Then it's a dream come true for a happy N900 user.

Every thing else is something else.

4inch screen with a disgusting waste of space devoted to Bezel.

When will the phone-makers ever realize:

Big Bezel = Bad Design

The screen should be 99% of the real estate you are looking at,
except - wait a moment - where is the keyboard anyway?

The N8 has both aswel. Probably because of what NvyUs said, so you can use USB OTG and charge at the same time.

My guess is that all higher end Nokia phones will be like this from now.

Nokia haven't been making concepts since 2007. I'm more than happy with that as at least with car manufacturers you might get design language that will be seen in the brands future cars or new tech introduced, but all the phone concepts i have seen past 10 years have not brought anything.

You say that but try to actually use a phone with 1% bezel everyday. ;)

maybe not the resolution
my n900 has 1,5ghz :D
my n900 fakes flash 10.1 and everything works so far with me :D

= i need much more to be impressed (ofc my n900 is modified but that doesnt matter for me)

I think I dig this :) if only the hardware specs are as great as the look itself. Resolution has to have 720p native :D what good with 4" screen if the resolution is not crystal clear and high? I don't want to see the pixel on screen. I want to see just picture!

I want LED light for video too. Also if it has night vision infrared LED would be super cool :D

Someone else mentioned that without a bezel holding it would be a pain
but I seriously disagree with that non-issue. :(
Handphone screens are simply too small due to the need to be pocketable,
and this is inevitable design problem. :mad:
The way I see it a screen should be a screen you don't need glasses for,
not some puny little frakking postage stamp-sized excuse
embedded in a monstrously-oversized plank of plastic.

Hold it by the slideout keyboard, of course:D

bear in mind the AURA concept has no keyboard and
therefore could not possibly be a contender for "Nokia at work".
Might be useful for picking up chicks or replacing your mp3 player
and that is about as useful as this concept could ever be.

The design is attractive but certainly not enough for me to put my hand up and crying like the women at Micheal Jackson's concert :)

Nice but not in love with it. But it could be my upgrade from the N900 :)
