N900 temperature at 43°!!!!!!!!
 

Today when I woke up I picked up my N900 to see the time and I felt it was very hot. So I just opened QCPU frequency and saw that temperature was 43°. I am worried if there is anything wrong with it.
Yesterday night I was using nitdroid and before going to sleep I rebooted back to Maemo and connected the charger. The phone charged for like 10 hours but I dont guess that's the problem because I charge it everyday like this. Can anyone help me out that what is wrong with it?????

probably because of nitdroid because it clocks the cpu at 500mhz minimum

h-e-n installed? It could cause that according to MohammadAG in usb host mode thread.

Also some process could be stuck. Use top to see?

thats nothing :D mines been at 52 degrees
Youtube 360p in browser + charging + 1.15ghz = 52 degrees :D

use conky to see which process is causing high cpu usage

It should not be that high when just charging.
I leave mine on charge for over 12 hours (24hrs last week - had no reception and forgot about it) and it never heats up, even on a hit 40+ degress (Celsius) day.

Check running applications.
Open xTerm
See whats running, or use conky.
Uninstall pointless unused programs - Give it a good reboot (into power46) and see how it goes.

My "record" is 60 degrees of Celsius. Charging, Joikuspot (Wifi + 3G) and overclocked to max CPU 1GHz. Solution; ice brick under phone and temperature stays below 40 ;)

Anything under 50c is nothing to worry about. One time I left my screen locked on overnight by accident, in the morning it was pretty hot...

You could always stick a cooler on the back like this if you are worried about temperature!

its -26˚ Celsius here in my location but right now, my CPU Temp (via cpufreqUI) is 40˚ celsius and modprobe says the my battery temp is 52˚ cesius! which i believe is normal.

i am just downloading 3 torrent files for a total of 5GB

with qcpu freq latest versions all options enable . it do show temperature exactly.

Mine only go to 55 degree when watching Youtube 360p under 500Mhz-1.15Ghz range. ONLY watching flash videos generate a lot of heat. Other than that everything is cool it seems.
