Stupid girlfriend stepped over my N900.

She broke the back cover of my N900 :(. I think she did it intentionally. I will take revenge on her Iphone 4 :p. Thank God everything else is working fine. Is back cover available alone????

Check on some part site, I'm sure it is available. I saw the bezel and screen on the site before.

Anyone got any clue? Help our comrade out.

They can be found on ebay and other sites, make sure its an orginal or else you may get one that can not tell the n900 when its camera shutter is open(or closed).

Accidents happen. I've seen the back cover on sale via eBay (unofficial) and the official Nokia sanctioned back covers on sale directly from Nokia - they're like $38 or so bucks (don't quote me).

Upgrade to double capacity battery at the same time.

Get the larger back cover ("HLI-N900XL")and DIY bigger battery (with 2xJapod -> 2600 mAh) by the instructions in the above linked thread, or if you are not short of money, just buy bigger battery (2400 mAh) with back cover.

The phone will be thicker, but you can use all its features daily more un-mercifully.

I would never go back. I even think the thicker is easier to type with qwerty either on table or in hands.

I was laying on the carpet playing 360 and my beloved N900 was right beside me. She wanted to sit beside me and stepped on it. :(

I wouldn't talk that way about someone I had feelings for no matter how unlikely they were to see me saying it. If you have such a low opinion of her that you think she did it intentionally, or she's actually petty enough to break a device of yours over whatever (which I doubt, but I'll admit there are people like that), then it's prob'ly time to seriously consider if you actually should be in a relationship.

As for back covers, I'm pretty sure I've seen some on sale online. *Shrug*

I wish you wouldn't get back to her brutality with brutality, as it's hardly the way of N900 users.

You should jailbreak her iPhone. Every time she shows her brutality, ssh to her iPhone with your N900, delete her address book/SMS database, change/play ringtones, or setup early alarm/reboot loop something like that.

That IS how a techi taking revenge, okay?
