Verizon iPhone
The Verizon iPhone thingy be real http://www.engadget.com/apple/verizon-iphone
I would have cared about this in 2008 or early 2009, but I think it is a little to late for Apple. The only real changes are CDMA, no voice and data at the same time over cellular connection, wifi hotspot mode (for up to 5 devices), a few subtle visual changes, and of course Verizon. What are your thoughts? |

Okay, that was harsh. But I'm actually happy that it finally came out. Now the rumors about that can die. |
Re: Verizon iPhone
I'm happy that people will stop making predictions of when will it come out only to find out that it isn't coming out and then make even more predictions in an annoying endless cycle of false predictions. Edit: Unfortunately people will be talking about a 4g iPhone or some crap like that.

Re: Verizon iPhone
"no voice and data at the same time over cellular connection"
does that mean if your phone is sending data it wont recognise incoming calls or it will simply terminate anything you may have been downloading etc? |

Re: Verizon iPhone
Little improvements, higher price (assumably) and really 99.5% the same.
Yet it will sell cause it's new. Iwant new Iproduct says Isheep |
Re: Verizon iPhone
It's gonna sell because there are plenty of Verizon customers wanting the iPhone but not wanting to move to AT&T.
Verizon's market share is something like 31% while AT&T's around 26%. Without Android in the picture, iPhone stands to double their US marketshare. |
