Hi! :)

I just submitted to the fremantle extras-devel repository an application named Vodafone 190.
With it you can chek your credit, counters and send free sms for the italian operator Vodafone IT.

P.S.: you'll probably encounter problem with counters visualization. This is due the fact that I don't know every counter Vodafone uses...I just looked at mine.
If you encounter problems with counters, please contact me. I'll fix the problem once you provide me your counter xml (without data if you want).

The application works fine, but I think you should add a little check.
Each time I send a message from it, I should remove the "+39" from the number, otherwise it will give an error. Can you check if the number start with the international code and remove it?

Yes, now it works only for italian operator Vodafone IT.
I just looked at the traffic generated by the Vodafone Desktop Widget (I don't know if it's available for other countries).

Maybe in the future I can add more countries (maybe parsing the webpages instead of using the widget https calls)

I don't see any counter, but I think it's because I don't need them. Maybe you could consider to remove the relative section when no counter is found.

Little issue: I use the option "Internet sempre Smart", and I'd like to have the amount of bytes (or the %) used, I don't need the "Scatti".
Also, It could be great if the software could read the amount of the actual bill in case of subscription (I don't have a recharchable account).

@boggiano: The problem is I don't know the data of all the counters or options.
If you want to help:
-Activate the log XML in the settings
-Update the data (menu - Aggiorna)
-Close the application

Send me the file /home/user/.vodafone190/vodafone190.log
Before sending the file open it and remove all the personal data (username, password, number, ...)

You can send the file to sakya_tg@yahoo.it
I'll look at your data and fix the problems. :)

I'm not a user of vodafone or your app, but you may run into trouble with the name and the logo. Perhaps you should change both into something that is not a trademark.

@mdckiller: to change the active sim card use "menu - Cambia SIM" (should be enabled automatically if your user has more than one SIM)

Thanks for this app.

1) What I did not understand is where you can view the text messages sent via vodafone.

2) The number of those text messages you have already sent daily is instead click on letter icon (new SMS), right?

Edit:
The number of daily sent messages isn't shown correctly in the letter icon, because it shows always 1/10, that means that it is the first of the ten allowed each day.

Sent sms are not saved. I can save them as normal sms.

Submitted version 0.5.0 (saves the sent sms in conversation).
The sms counter is working fine for me (I sent two sms and the counter is....2).

Update and test the new version. ;)

Unfortunately, after two sms to the same person no longer works. In conversations when I open the text message sent does not and it said "can not send to blank" (or zero - I don't remember)."

Then I sent a new message from vodafone to the same person. The sms has been confirmed, but when I open the text message says "numero non corretto" and the title of SMS is "eck: Event type RTCOM_EL_EVENTTYPE_SMS_OUTE". More you can not read.

I've tried to send again 2 messages and they was confirmed as sent, buth when I try to open them from conversation, then I get the error messages mentioned.
