3 Android Screens Concept
 

Saw this just now on "TheNextWeb"

I would to see this concept with just two screens.

I also really like the colour scheme with the black and that green on the keyboard, looks slick as $hit to me.

Would love a black N9 in the black ChromeOS laptop style with those keys myself.

It is preety slick. Btw, i dont think there will be an N9, not until 2012. The phone you guys are waiting for is probably the E7. Who knows, since it didnt come out yet, a possibility is that it might ship will a polished version of symbian, or meego.

Even if it was real, the only way I would accept it is if it had the versatility of the N900. Without having to work my *** off to get past some phone-bricking chip built in to prevent rooting the phone.

Seriously, for all the complaints against the N900 (many of which I agree with), for all the pretty-good stuff that the other phone OSs bring in, I still don't think I've seen something that can make me as satisfied as the N900 did. Three shiny screens and ridiculously cool tech is nice, but not necessarily sufficient for me to truly like a device.

Thanks, yes I do have one :)
Its not the exact one, mine is an upgraded model where only two sides have the Super-AMOLED screens. The third is a physical qwerty, besides that its exactly identical.

That is one sexy concept. But nothing MeeGo nor Nokia will approach that level of concept for at least another decade.

Nah. I believe E7 has been in its final draft, and already in mass production so it would be impossible to have any specs changes. And it will use Symbian^3 for sure

As stated in the beginning of the article, this is just "A new concept design", but I'm curious about the battery life with having 3 touch screens? I hope they've solved battery life issue before they release a device like this

I've decided to call those locked-up, locked-down straightjacket operating systems "kiosk OSes" because they are designed to be used like a kiosk, only in the way the vendor intended, with no user-serviceable parts. You are not the owner; you are the user. The vendor is the owner.

That, in a nutshell, is why I will only ever own an unlocked Linux phone. I'm a creative. I'm a hacker. I want to own my phone.

If only such a beautiful device could be as creative and open in its software as its hardware.

I like that - " Kiosk OS" :D

I don't think I'm in the same league as you real hackers, but I do like to make my device my own and use your hacks if I want to take the risk.

I Don't think I'll get the same experience elsewhere and only hope that N9 (or whatever) will have similar potential.
