there is application using qt uoloaded at 19-01-2011 from https://projects.forum.nokia.com/turntable

hopefullly nokia and other developer can make across application or game doubtly 3d game using qt and vice versa between maemo,meego,symbian.

Amazing app! This is a great project! Is this considered more as a proof of concept or is the app gonna be further developped? This is one of the most impressive apps i have seen.

this is a very positive direction towards multi nokia platform devices support as announed with integration of qt.

very happy to see n900 is being considered, hope to see more apps for n900.

So far you can only use the provided samples, which is why I ask if this is only been released as a proof of concept or s there real development behind this?

the .wav sample must be stored somewhere, i'm guessing you should be able to replace it with your own somehow?

Open the downloaded .deb file with File Manager and it will install on App Manager, might take a while minutes.

It seems samples are coded in to aplication so is not easy to switch.

But there are the sources to download, so we need one of awsome developers here to check it out and allow us to customize the sounds.

I had to export LC_NUMERIC="C", before it worked for me. Looks promising, i wish mixxx and lmms would be working in Easy Chroot...

To make a cool effect, try to set the resonance to 85, cutoff to 90 and reduce the tempo around 100. This makes the sample resonate on time to time..

anybody here. who read under help ( sorry for my bad english ) the sound downloadable and the name is I forgot. but if you read it you will know. and ucan replace it.

Having a look at the contents of the .DEB file it looks like the sounds are compiled into the executable. A shame - hopefully the developer can add the functionality to load external .wavs, as this is a great piece of software.

I downloaded this and installed it, but it doesnt run on my N900. The app window opens with a black screen then closes right after. Any suggestions?

Also why cant I download this from the repos?

I just browsed to some .wavs on my mmc card in the dj turntable browser (the little star symbol in the top left corner) and it loaded them up just fine.

I needed to execute the following as root prior to successfully executing DJ Turntable:

apt-get install qtquickcompat

Then it runs fine.

This app is SO much fun! I really am blown away by the accelerometer being used to simulate light reflection on the record vinyl!

Does anyone know if this supports any other audio formats besides .wav?

How did you find out that? I'm having the same problem with accelblend and it worked. But what's the reason?
