:D Dear Rovio I hope we will get this version for N900 soon:cool: |
Re: Angry birds Rio , March 2011
I somewhat doubt it will hit Maemo... Angry Birds Seasons never popped out on Maemo, did it?
|
Re: Angry birds Rio , March 2011
To maemo I don't know, but to me, yes they are coming!
|
Re: Angry birds Rio , March 2011
I hope, that this game won't be only for iOs and Android,, Guys in rovio, dont forget about us
|
Re: Angry birds Rio , March 2011
Well no but to be honest I tried Seasons the other day and they are really boring and hard, nothing new just more levels. This one however seem to have some new birds as rivals :D
|
Re: Angry birds Rio , March 2011
You could always install NITDroid and play it there :)

Re: Angry birds Rio , March 2011
meh. insert annoying ad here... guess what?
It still came out for that platform and not your platform. |
Re: Angry birds Rio , March 2011
the community could release its own map packs since a level editor is available.

I'm just sick of ads everywhere and will manage to live with less angry bird levels to escape them. |

Ive bought everything available for ab on the 900, and Id rather pay for the game on my Nexus One, as I did on my 900, but I dont think you have the option between free&ads vs pay&no adds.. maybe they should consider that going forward.. unless they somehow make more money from those things. <shrug> I wish I could use my 900 for everything without having to dualboot... but having that ability is really sweet. if that UMA (wifi calling app) could work in NITDroid, or have a legit version for maemo, I wouldnt have needed this N1, but Ill admit its a fun extra toy to have. :) |
Re: Angry birds Rio , March 2011
I just installed the angry birds rio on my n900 gingerbread, and play without problems, the game is good :-))) The first panel 30 levels + second after crossing the first
looks good |
Re: Angry birds Rio , March 2011
For me the game crashed the first time I tried to launch a bird. I was in a rush and haven't had a chance to try again. Maybe if I disable the sound it'll be more gentle...

Amazon's new Android App Store works on nitdroid, and they are currently giving away Angry Birds Rio full version for free, that's where I installed it from. |

Re: Angry birds Rio , March 2011
@ sada11 and @riceboy: How did you get yours running? I tried to install the apk (in Germany here) on my Gingerbread Nitdroid and to do even that, I had to take out the sd card in the options menu. When I try to start the game it either crashes right away before doing anything or it crashes in the first level after the popup showing you how to shoot the birds.

Re: Angry birds Rio , March 2011
i have tried the market fix and it worked since at the beginning of the use of nitdroid, the android market didnt have angry birds rio and many other apps....
i installed nitdroid in sdcard not emmc, but have the kernel-power working with the multiboot and also have managed to overclocked both nitdroid and maemo... also the airplane mode fix workes and now can use the mobile provider's internet but im using the wi-fi for downloading apps and games from the android store (many games and apps work but not angry birds seasons nor rio)... is a way to get angry birds rio working???:( i used the auto-installer procedure for the nitdroid shown in: http://www.nitdroid.com/index.php?ti...-Autoinstaller also the kernel for v2.6.28power46 shown at: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=67866&page=2 |

I can still download Angry Birds Rio and Seasons but the installation is unsuccessful... :( Another thing, when doing Manage Applications > Running I noticed that right below the Market and Google FrameWork is said "Unable to compute the size" instead of giving the actual size... Is this normal? |

I did what you mentioned last on the comment and sadly it didn't work. I did like you said, Settings > Applications > Unknown Applications and activated it. Went and downloaded both angry birds files and stored it on the device. Using Astro file manager I located the files and tried to install them but the following message appears "Application not installed".... Am i doing something wrong?:( |
Re: Angry birds Rio , March 2011
It's out for HP WebOS, so I expect it for PreEnv anytime now :)

Re: Angry birds Rio , March 2011
this game has to be one of the lamest sequels ever. itīs so much worse than the original.
|
Re: Angry birds Rio , March 2011
i just can't get enough of it. Monkeys and parrots, cool. And it's deffinetely not lame!
Trophies and other stuff. But actually we are going have to wait till other levels open up in next few months. EDIT: Just finished last level:) killed the white parrot:p |
Re: Angry birds Rio , March 2011
