is there 2.7.10 for N900 ?

am still using 2.7.7 which is old now, why isnt the new version out for nokia N900?

as we all know, most of us use this program, as it is the only messenger for N900. when you want MSN,AIM.
I hope this program doesnt stop at 2.7.7!

please tell me if the new version is out for N900!

Someone just has to recompile it with the patches for Maemo (that add full-screen buttons, etc)

I have problem with 2.7.7 and CCSU update for maemo!

the pidgin always crashes when i recieve offline messages.
when i start pidgin it crashes instantly if i recieve offline messages!

PLEASE HELP! need update! please this is the only messenger app am using for N900.

please someone of the pro ppl compile for us the new 2.7.10

btw, there wasnt any problem with pidgin and recieving offline messages before CSSU update.

it doesnt crash and works good.

but after i updated to the amazing CSSU which something i congrats everyone for it and big thanks to all people behinde it, now pidgin crashed instantly if i start the app and i have offline messages waiting to be shown!

please help guys!

there is qutIM that is a great messenger too, you should try it. It has a full qwerty vertical keyboard :D

you know, with all the time you spend spamming this thread with the same petulant foot-stamping demands, you could learn how to compile it yourself. If you read the warnings you'd realise CSSU isn't for people who are reluctant to flash their phone or, tacitly agreed, people who ***** and moan when something undesired happens. So why not flash the phone, ignore CSSU until it's stable, and use the current, working Pidgin? Has it eluded you that the new version may also be in conflict with CSSU?

Did you miss my last post? People aren't here to satisfy you. They're working on great new apps and development which are far more important than Pidgin. If it's that important to you, maybe you should either learn to do it yourself, or offer a monetary donation for anyone who compiles it, rather than just expecting other people to put hard work and effort into something for free.

but pidgin is the most important app for N900!! not a crappy transitions or flip flop !

Nokia is about connectivity, if we dont have pidgin messenger than what will be mobile tablet phone n900 is for??

also waiting for this. current version still works but somehow the buddy picture is not updated on me. hope with the release of newer version, this bug will be solved
