whats your opinion on the joint venture?

my opinion is quite simple... no matter
how you look at it.... its a loose loose deal
for nokia and win win for ms..

man things must b real darn tuff for nokia

Well how about we turn this thread into something useful now that we've had a chance to express our fustration?

I feel, that now 2 months later Symbian suddenly looks a lot more interesting because of many releases from Beta Labs, Anna and new devices. Symbian still doesn't interest me, but it sure looks like something more valuable than WP7. WP7 still feels to me like vapourware.

What about you guys, any updates on your thoughts on WP7? Or should we just forget this thread :d

My workphone is a C7. Mostly I am not using it. I just got my boss to buy it cause it has NFC and we working with RFID stuff.

But one thing is sure about Symian. Atleast battery holds alot longer, five days with wifi.

The rest I can say is symbian cannot compare with Maemo/Meego.

But the new Symbian UI is promising. I guess is its heavily based on qt components preview released last week.

But still I want a N9XX with Meego Harmattan! I will NEVER buy a WP7 phone not even if Elop gives me one. O well maybe but I will for sure smash it hard in the wall...
