[Anounce] My Little Artist 1.4.3 first release on Maemo
 

Hello everyone!

Just want to introduce you my drawing application - My Little Artist. This is a just first release on Maemo.

App was designed for 'big' brothers - PCs, netbooks, but finally i decide to try to make Maemo version.

I need you feedback and suggestions to improve this app. Hope you like it. Enjoy! But be careful, it is a very addictive...

EDIT: tried it for some minutes couldn't find bugs. Very good application not as "big" as MyPaint but with really nice brushes.

where to download my artist? from app manager??? i could not find it (even after updating catalog) help plz.....

this worked for me

root
dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/.documents/MyLittleArtist_1.4.3_armel.deb
apt-get install mcsp
apt-get -f

There is some problem with saving. It sometimes doesn't save. It doesn't even give error message :(

Wait... why is mscp needed? MCSP just pushes some patches to a couple of packages that have been improved upstream but Nokia never put those fixes in. They're not necessary 99% of the time and more importantly, other packages might already contain the same (or even more uo to date, for all we know) fixes.

Does this app TRULY need mcsp or is it just some attempt at forcing some package fixes on everyone? If so, mind making sure that the CSSU doesn't already have those same fixes? If not, please don't make it "necessary" in the .deb's control file.

As i mentioned before i'm nub on Maemo. I decide to include mscp to requirements because my app requires Qml.

Looks good.

Starting gives:

I didn't install it but
(I do not have CSSU, and know nothing about MCSP/qml)

Seems like need a help of someone who have more experience in developing for Maemo than me... I'll check dependencies requirements and return back. Maybe i don't need to add mscp dependencies to package.

Oh, never got around to this: Qml should already be available on N900s... actually I think with PR1.3 it's preinstalled by default. mscp just packages a couple of fixes for it, which aren't actually necessary for most functions. But to be fair I'm not a developer and don't with certainty know if you need the fix that mscp packages.
