I work on windows 7 mobile icons :D
Is it nice?

Re: Windows 7 Mobile icons

Never had a W7 phone so I do not know what kind of icons it uses, but looks like you put some work to it and it does not look bad :)

Just not so much a fan of Windows/Microsoft.

we need more icon packs, pls carry on the good work it looks good

Re: Windows 7 Mobile icons

very nice, just give it another name, won't get too many fans out here mimicking ms even if it is awesome. Btw hey don't look exaclty like ms which gives them a life of their own and justifies a name like maemono icon pack, or whitecons or whatever

You dont have to place all the hicolor icons in your package just the ones that you have made. Whatever is missing will be copied automatically from hicolor.

Post your build_myapp.py script you used for the build.

Try this i think it may be because of the listed dependencies. The only thing that you need there is theme-customizer. Here is a cleaned up version of what you posted above just enter your info where you see "your" and remove .txt and example from the file name.

Re: Mango iconset (aka win7)

also take out the index.theme~ form your source files just leave index.theme

Re: Mango iconset (aka win7)

first of all nice works on the icon packages my friends....
i do have try it on my n900 & sadly there a lot of improvement you need to make for these icon....
i would like to suggest you smooth up your icon especially on the round ages of it....also some icon seems to be bigger than the usuall size...
hopes you make an improvement in the next update mostly on the smooth sides of your icon....also add more icon for other apps...

the icon pack still needs work, lots of it, the icons need to be smoother, and you have to try covering as icons as you can, so that it doesn't looks weird .

okey, One problem for me I dont what name for that apps, becasue I do not have them :/
Should I stay in great white or mix it whit some color like I have done?

anismistry 2011-06-27 21:22

Re: Mango iconset (aka win7)

i think one color should be good i.e. white or you can make the outer circle white and inner a bit colorful like app manager(still one color looks elegant).

you also make different color icons like you have made full white, you can make full black, full blue, full green which can go with different types of wallpapers others might have

thanks
