i went through app manager and just downloaded webos

its not help me not that : dpkg-i and apt-get install preenv
its show me dpkg-i : not found
and when i wrote apt-get install preenv its show me : E: could not open lock file var / lib / dpkg / lock -open (13 permission denied)
E: unable to lock the administration directory (var / lib / dpkg /) , are you root ?

and when i wrote
root
apt-get install preenv
its show me :
E: could not get lock var / lib / dpkg / lock -open (11 resource temporarily unavailable)
E: unable to lock the administration directory ( / var / lib / dpkg / ), is another process using it ?

and all the application catalog in application manager is able :
nokia application
nokia system software update
ovi
maemo.org
extras-testing
extras-devel
maemo extras

someone help me please with that :( :( :(

close app manager if you're at the command line doing that.

You should close every other app managers before installing through apt-get.

how can i know wht application to close ...
in xterminal i type :
ps -e | grep apt
then its show me 2 numbers
then i type :
sudo kill (with the firs number and i try the second number )
and its will help me to close all the apps
but its show me:
password :
and i cant type anything when its show me that :(

Doing this will not help.

Simply close any open apps you have running using the small X in the top right corner.

I'd give the posting a rest for a while, read the manual which came with your phone, have a browse through the wiki and this forum and enjoy the experience :)
