Will N900 accelerometer problem get solved by Nitdroid

I have done all that have told in this site but none worked just let me list it
1. Restarting the device after couple of minutes
2. Removing battery
3. Installed eyes widget and it always looks left
4. Installed AccDisplay application it shows
x=0.01
y=0.01
z=0.01
5.Installed Attitude application and it just spin round and round
6.Installed HealthCheck application(4.3mb) and it shut down itself when opened
I installed other Healthcheck application also(443kb) and it just dont show any values in its respective axis!!

7.Flashed the device fully

I just need to know that if I install nitdroid on N900 emmc will the accelerometer problem end
If yes then how
plz read this thread and some one plz answer!!

Isn't it possible that your accelerometer is faulty?

+1 for Damnshock's reply.

Try installing "liqacceltests, see what results you get then.

Well, you know, sometimes things just break. That's what warranties are for ;)

Software doesn't magically repair hardware that has become broken, so doubtful.

No, android or maemo or meego or whatever will not solve a hardware issue, and given all the things you've tried, a hardware issue is what you have.

Take it to Nokia.

If you have rotation enabled, run the following to see what MCE's reporting:
dbus-monitor --system "path=/com/nokia/mce/signal,interface=com.nokia.mce.signal,member=sig_d evice_orientation_ind"

If you see nothing, it means that MCE hasn't been told to poll.

Run "dbus-send --system --print-reply --type=method_call --dest=com.nokia.mce /com/nokia/mce/request com.nokia.mce.request.req_accelerometer_enable" and this'll turn on MCE's polling. Running the dbus-monitor command above should now start to report something.

Make sure to run "dbus-send --system --print-reply --type=method_call --dest=com.nokia.mce /com/nokia/mce/request com.nokia.mce.request.req_accelerometer_disable" when done to stop it from polling*

could be possible however that the device is faulty.

Also a preious fix (ignoring the battery out and in method) is checking what else installed could intefere with the accelerometer?

When you did a complete reflash + emmc, did you test the accelerometer before installing anything?
Also what version are you running CE, 1.2 etc?

when I ran the dbus-monitor --system "path=/com/nokia/mce/signal,interface=com.nokia.mce.signal,member=sig_d evice_orientation_ind"
command on root and it was not polling and was stuck at
string ":1.168"
I also tried enabling it but no result

Ya and also checked the rotation after flashing (without installing anything) but no result same as before !!
any ways thanks for the help!! :confused::confused:
