To start DJing with MidiJ (on MS Windows XP), it's required:
  • Nokia N900 with MidiJ;
    Wifi connection (broadcast UDP/IP);
    MidiJ Gateway (avaliable on MidiJ homepage, Windows only for now);
    Virtual MIDI port (one of):
    - LoopBE1
    - MIDI Yoke;
    - or Sony Virtual MIDI Router <not sure>.
    DJ Software (with MIDI support):
    - Serato SSL - MIDI mapping file:SSL SCS.3d V1.00.xml ;
    - Mixxx (not tested yet).
    - ...

Notes:
- Sliders with Relative Mode are not supported (needs testing);
- May be compatible with ipMIDI and QmidiNet (not tested);
- And alot of testing still needed.

Yes, I will port this project to the Jolla phone, but don't known when it will be available... I'm kinda new to the QML concept...
Maybe by May 2014...

Re: MidiJ connecting instructions

Due to hackers the page: midij.home.sapo.pt has been deleted..
And due to lack of interest of the community to this project, I will not create a new one. :(
Thus I'm declaring it has a dead project.

Hey Amilcar,
Honestly there are so many projects and programs for the devices it is hard to keep up.
I honestly didn't know this one even existed. Had I known I'd be one of the 1st to post and thank you for it.
It has been pretty tumultuous around here for some time...and many many people have been distracted elsewhere with simply maintaining TMO ...It is really too bad about the hackers...I do urge you to keep at it though please. I for one am keen on it now I know of it...and would most certainly use it...and I know many others here would too.

Thank you for your great work, Amilcar. Most likely you should be able to get the internet hosting service to restore your webpage content, as backups are common. I checked in archive.com, but they didn't have any snapshots of it. Probably robots.txt?

Good luck, anyway.
