i am sure there is something that will come up. if it was built with Qt, it may be easy to port. |

Re: [App Request] Google Music for N9
I think that international GoogleMusic is available thanks to Engadget giving us the news.
- http://www.engadget.com/2011/11/19/h...e-of-the-unit/ So get to work on that APP!! (please?) |
Re: [App Request] Google Music for N9
+1 to this app request as well. I got Google Music and I want to access my accounts in the N9 too.

Re: [App Request] Google Music for N9
Hmm, whats interesting is if you go to music.google.com on the N9 it looks like it brings up the full version of google music not the iOS mobile version - it looks very different than the screenshots from lifehacker...
Guessing its the browser agent causing the different site to show up, now if we could change the agent it may just work... |
Re: [App Request] Google Music for N9
+1
Like jer006 says, on the N9 we can only access the "real" google music page which doesn't even play any sound. Does anyone know if it is possible to change the agent so that we can access the iOS version? This of course goes for some other google webapps aswell (maps). I can't even understand why google would restrict their webapps to certain browsers... Seems illlogical and unfair |
Re: [App Request] Google Music for N9
Maybe there is a URL for the mobile version of the site. For example, tacking a "/m" or "/mobile" on to it. A Google search might reveal it.

In the google music case I don't think there is a specific adress for the mobile version, you're just supposed to get redirected to it... If you're on an iphone that is... |
Re: [App Request] Google Music for N9
We need to be able to change user-agent on the stock browser.
Then we should be able to go to the mobile version that's for iOS. There's got to be a way to do this under-the-hood of the stock browser. But maybe it's not there at all, can't recall now.... Other option may be via Fennec, using some method to spoof/change user-agent. |

Go to GOOGLE+, it will be the HTML5 view. If not then scroll down and select MOBILE instead of BASIC MOBILE. Then on top, there is a bar for all services, I access GMAIL/Calendar all of them, which are not the text on versions that way. Wonder if I can do the same with Google music.. |

Has anyone figured how to use google music via n9?
I would pay if somebody could make app for google music. |
Re: [App Request] Google Music for N9
Any updates on this? I don't really want to change my browser user agent...
|
Re: [App Request] Google Music for N9
I've started writing an app to provide support for Google Music (they only just launched in the UK, so I haven't been able to until now). Currently it can retrieve a list of all your music and get an URL to stream a song with; when I get back from a couple of weeks away on a work trip I'll see about getting it into a more finished state.

Re: [App Request] Google Music for N9
you can change the browser agent through N9QT using the browser tweaks. I can confirm that it worked for me for a short while.
