Hey guys. I was wondering yesterday when I was looking at my original Diablo CD and I noticed that it can be installed on Windows 95. I saw that N900 can run Windows 95 so is it possible to play Diablo while the phone is running Windows 95?? And other thing I saw was that Diablo can be installed on Mac. As fas as I know Mac OS is linux based and I saw N900 running mac OS but for Diablo it is needed very old version ... so is it possible to get Diablo on N900 through other OS?

maybe with extremely low speed, but probably not
mac os doesn't have anything to do with linux

only thing that would be feasible it to rewrite diablo engine from scratch like gemrb, startagus, wargus and so on...
it was already done for windows mobile with pocket diablo, but i think that it never got finished
you can play the playstation version if you don't mind that it sucks when compared with the real diablo...

Haha yea sure. And one more thing do you know which exactly ps emulator i should download I mean which work correctly?

Who is the author of Pocket Diablo? Is the source available anywhere? I would be very much interested in that. I Googled around, but hardly found any relevant info. Besides a bunch of binaries, there is a "PDiablo" project on SourceForge, but it's completely empty. Does anyone have any knowledge on this?

I wouldn't want to play the intense battles against the witches et al having to rely on the touchscreen and very small keyboard. It's almost sure to result in frustration.

I though it was about OS2008 on N900 (funnily though maybe we could port the old hildon-desktop just for the sake of doing it - it is available on ubuntu repos)

but he can easely play the ps1 version because its all dumbed up...
