any words for it? when they gonna release it?? any possible US retailer? I'm holding my $$ for n9 trying to save a little and get it later, but I think white n9's gonna be out by that time.

It's due out soon, highly doubt it will see a US distributor.

i'm getting one. i know nothing about the situation in US but afaik we'll have to wait at least a couple of weeks until it may arrive to retailers such as verkkokauppa.com here in finland. would like to hear about possible other retailers though.

Not heard a WORD about white N9 since Nokia World!

So I begining too think it was a false.

Nokia Sweden doesn't even know about white N9 if asking them :(

gsm-store (finland) claims they will have it on 7.12.2011. albeit they have not responded to an email inquiring about the availability. i know some stores just put a date x weeks in the future, and the repeat the procedure once the date arrives. until they have the product in stock. don't know about gsm-store though. tomorrow we'll know something at least.

I believe a spokeswoman said that a white version of the N9 would be released on the run up to Christmas, however it will only be a 64GB model and only be available in the countries that currently have the N9. Which is a shame that it won't be coming to the UK.

Confirm/Deny? White Nokia N9 UK release

This appears to have some confusing dates as the URL has the release date of August but this was last updated on 30-Nov-2011

My hopes are still not raised though

Edit: Just been looking through google and many sites are also confirming this, is it really true? :o

Why is FInnish so damn different from Sweden ;) Atleast I can READ Norwegian and Danish and understand it but Finish ;)

Has anyone bought one yet? Anyone from Finland that can chime in?

I want to see some real world photos (not just the nokia world photos).

And if I have to go with a case to avoid scratches, it may defeat the purpose of going after the white version when I could just get a black 64gb now. But I still want it badly so I will wait as long as I can.

ordered from katshing.fi on wednesday 5pm; arrived friday 10.30am. imho it's looks just as gorgeous as in the marketing pics, but regadless, here are some pics of the white n9, taken with an n900.

So uhh... guess I will continue to aim for a white N9!

Also, do you feel as though the body will show scratches easily because of the gloss? Are you going to run the case it or does it look too bulky?

i don't know about the scratches, but i don't get the impression that scratches will easily show. i probably won't use a case most of the times, maybe the leather case for special occasions (trekking, going to the archipelago or if it seems to easily drop from my pockets). i think i will be a bit more careful with the phone however. perhaps not bike and type, as i did with the n900. the white n9 feels a bit more slippery than the n900 at least.

I was with white n9 aswell at first. I got 64gb black now with white, blue, red , green, purple, yellow, etc case.. haha.. :D anyway, would love to see n9 white in person and it might change my mind. Will definitely sell my black one for white n9 if it impress me.

fingers crossed !! due an upgrade 2nd week in january so i am hoping !!! had resigned myself to no n9 as cant afford to buy outright but if this is true then maybe on a contract ?!?!

The white silicon case that is glossy and has the cut outs like on the CC-1020 is the holy grail, all the other white cases I have seen have one large cutout for the buttons on the side, and weird cut out on the back for the camera lense, and that totally kills the aesthetic of the case.
