N9 Clock UI MOD v3.3 (9/1/12)

Id like to announce my UI MOD for the N9's Clock app. The first time I opened the Clock, I was like "Why is it so light?". Just about everything else has a dark theme. So Ive made it darker and better!

*Compatible with PR1.2*

WARNING: you may want to backup your files first and I am not responsible if you stuff your device.

Just did it, looks gorgeous, though I think the numbers for alarms should be white too, a reboot isn't necessary :) Thanks

I agree, but I *cannot* find out how to change the alarm text under the clock...

Version 2.0 released, has install script so is much easier to install!

See first post.

See first post.

Installed, works flawlessly!

Edit: The script made it hard to install, I just removed the script and installed it straight....

Second Edit: If you want to skip the script part, remove darkclock.sh from the folder
terminal
devel-su
rootme
cd /home/user/MyDocs/darkclock
cp -R usr/ /
no need for a reboot

Can you keep the Dark Clock mods separate for those that don't want to install the conversations mod?

You must remember, you changed install script to use from different directory to that of which your instructions say to place files in. Be careful, someone with less no how, would find this unusable

Edit: What happened?

Clock still the same as in my picture. Do you have the original clock.css file?

Will try to revert to default, then reapply theme. Maybe some conflicting elements caused by simply rewriting css and rebooting.

Side Note: In your FDB theme, you said "MeeGo" boot screen. I want it, but without theme. Can you send me that file?

Edit: Found original, retried. Same error is reproduced :/

The script is obviously faulty. I got the same picture as pasted above by MFaroTusino, and that's too bad :-(

Re: N9 Clock UI MOD v3.3 (9/1/12)

Hi F2thaK,

I was pointed to this thread while trying to modify the standard clock myself. I don't like that the list of alarms is so small on the bottom. I have managed to shrink the analog clock and move the digital one up so there is more space for the list. But I am unable to make the alarm list any larger. Do you know, is this possible?

(the thread I originally asked this: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=84045 )

BTW, nice dark theme here you have. I must try this out. :)

Cheers
