How to I hide porn?
 

OK guys I apologize for the thread title but I figure any more ambiguous titles sound even dumber. :p

Basically I want to be able to either
* disable auto search for the bundled media player
* limit the the auto search in certain folders only
or
* encode stuff that can't be recognized by the media player but still can be played smoothly on mplayer.

Anything short of storing the video files in a separated SD card. Thanks in advance. :)

We all want that (not the porn).

As to the porn question: You don't hide it; you proudly display your non-conformist lifestyle and claim you don't care that you can't get a girlfriend. :rolleyes:

It has nothing to do with non-comformist lifestyle, I just figured there must be a way to do this basic of the most basic function?

There is even a home grew app that just that on the Sony PSP. *sigh*

Just stream everything, delete your search history and use theporndude, as your source for porn bookmarks ;)

You can use Tracker cfg to unwatch the folder where you put the great stuff :) so it wont appear in the videos in the stock player... hope it's what you wanted to do

Forget "those without girlfriends.."
For those with "significant others" ,girlfriends, wives, boyfriends, husbands...
No harm in sharing eh? :D

I mean it can only be better sharing your porn with your significant other....it can't be worse than say... the boyfriend/ husband standard relationship requirement of sitting through Bett Midler in "Beaches" or Barbara Streisand in "Prince of Tides" with the significant other...and I'm sure it works the other way around concerning the fact some film is just too "male"? (is that a good word?) for general ladies enjoyment...like "Fight Club" or "Gangs of New York" or any of the countless guy flicks and what ladies gotta watch to appease their guys.

Porn-sharing ..
Throws some spice in the proverbial mix ..
Livens things up... :D
Girly romantic porn...(has a plotline :D) ...I can bear and live with the extreme of it...:D
hence my girl can sit back and cope with my film choices :D

OMG, 8 years! This must be the most severe case of necromancy I have ever seen on any online forum.

About the topic, the Maemo answer is tracker.cfg, the Sailfish one is an empty file .nomedia in the folder you do not want tracked.

just use the find sex app, you will find so much sex, you won't need porn on your phone anymore :D

if this doesn't work out (wich is very unlikely), just put it in an hidden folder eg .porn
