Hi all,
detect this since 1st day I got the phone.

Already create a bug but wanna know if I'm the only one or if some of you guys meet the same issue :

I have the same issue. Can not unlock the phone with swipe when charging. Bizarre!!!

It's not only on unlocking screen, almos all swipping gesture are really really hard to accomplish. just impossible to use the phone !!

so you just have to vote for this on te bug link upper :D

I'm having the same issue. I think it's because the capacitive screen gets interference from the power source.

this is not something new. on my samsung galaxy s when i use a 3rd party charger the screen totally doesnt work. This is more of the power supply interfering with the electrons on the capacitive screen.

If during charging you want to use the screen, try holding the phone straight up instead of flat down it works most of the time.

You could try another charger. If I charge via USB using a computer, the touchscreen works fine.

yeah but I'm using the official charger atm.
and usb chargin method threw pc is a workaround, and definitely not charging as much as a real charger for me

ya more or less its something to do with the electrical voltages not really a software issue. charging from a desktop via usb solves the problem cuz of the lower voltage passed thro.

Try using the original charger or a blackberry charger as they usually have lower voltages and this problem will be minimized.

I don't know why people are trying to minimize this problem. It's a BIG problem if you want to use the phone while charging and it should be fixed

yes, i agree that it is a problem. its gotta be something with the voltage of the standby screen. has anyone used the video out cable with the standby screen on and phone charging? it causes video framerate reduction, when the standby screen comes on.

I've used the normal charger that comes with the N9, also older chargers (E75, N900 etc.), and I can't say I have this problem. Mine works just as it would without it being plugged in.

Maybe the screen is calibrated to charging in Finland? Finnish people and Nokia thus cannot reproduce this behavior, while several people in other countries have it.

Honestly, haven't experienced this myself either.

Is it us Finns not being able to see the obvious flaws on Nokia phones or something else? :D
It gets lag spike when you connect it to charger, but after that it's fine.
