converting n9 game into n900
 
today i downloaded airattack.deb into my pc(for n9) and then i try to install it to my n900, its installed but no icons comes up, and when i go to the usr/share/application/hildon i cant find AirAttack.desktop, but i found it in /usr/share/application

LOL maybe sound so dumb here, but how to make it works??, and when i go to FAM, its there, its already installed, any advice??:confused:

The desktop file path is different for N900 than N9. Just move it to the right place. You can try if it works without moving the desktop file by lauching the application from command line - check the exec line from the desktop file if it needs some parameters.

cat /path/to/the/filename.desktop
In any case it might not work if it depends on libraries, etc. that are not present in n900.

Or Nemo, as that is mostly binary-compatible with Harmattan.

OK, don't get too excited. I managed to run it on Nemo with sound, but it doesn't detect presses on the touchscreen, so I could not get past the title screen. :(

Here's what I did:

Make a tarball of the files on the N9 and copy it over to Nemo. Untar the tarball on Nemo, so that all files go extracted to their original location.

Now you have the application icon on Nemo and can start the game.

I tried copying over Angry Birds (the free version with magic) and NFS Shift as well.
Angry Birds crashes after the title screen.
NFS Shift has the same problem as AirAttack. It starts but the touchscreen does not work.

so its not work yet, whoaa on nemo? :(

im not install nemo on my n900, maybe its can work on maemo side?

in air attack and nfs shift, can it be meegotouchcore whats missing in maemo and dont work with nemo?
