Enabling Wi-Fi Hotspot on the N9
I got my N9 from New Zealand and I live in the US. How do I enable the Wi-Fi Hotspot.....permanently. My carrier is T-mobile if that matters. TiA.

I think you have to manually start it each time you use it.
I'm not sure it matters who your carrier is - I'm using an Australian N9 in Poland and Czech Republic. |
Re: Enabling Wi-Fi Hotspot on the N9
I Believe the thread regarding the crippled wifi hotspot if here somewhere. google or search "crippled wifi hotspot n9". Also, installing n9tweak or quick tweak will fix it. Be sure to read the installation instructions very carefully.

Only drawback is that the N9 only supports the DUN profile, but not PAN. I've been trying, but no luck so far :( |

Re: Enabling Wi-Fi Hotspot on the N9
Just to go off topic and sorry, when my hotspot is on, other devices are able to connect to it except my PS3, any reason to this? It simply doesn't detect my N9, but it sees other Hotspots around town!

Re: Enabling Wi-Fi Hotspot on the N9
Does this mean that my BlackBerry doesn't support adhoc mode since I can't view N9's hotspot? Btw, I've already used the N9tweak.
