screen no light
 

suddenly the screen give a lot of lines and wont light again every thing else is worked LED vibration touch and also the camera but not display nothing in the screen any suggestion is this a software ( need re flash) or a hardware ??


i want to mention also that i did not drop the phone just leaving on charge after a wile i find the screen giving lines like the screen is about to die and also i used to charge as display when charged

any help ??!!

no actually its more then this i mean the line in my phone looks more and u cant see nothing just a lot of lines and just few seconds the screen off
so is that a LCD screen should change or what ?

it was almost light screen not even like this post it was like white and more pinky lines and blue just for few seconds and turn off screen black
i turn off the phone triyng to turn on again the LED works but screen still black

Could it be the NOKIA splashscreen you see distorted because you said

Sounds like a reboot loop with a distortion from the splashscreen...

Maybe you can flash your device, there are a lot of threads here on TMO how to do this on your N900.
I would read the wiki-page first how to do that, but if that solves your distortion problem, i don't know

i reflashed my mobile this morning but still nothing change also u mean its not a software problem and it will not solve if i change the lcd ?

i would do a search here because i read somewhere that it could be a cable but i'm at work now so a lil difficult to search on my device

just waiting for u dude and i just want tell you a thing that yesterday the phone just on and the screen is on but i had that prob you mentioned before same like this thread http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=81736

no i don't have the opera on my phone
i can understand its the cable right ?
but u know what is so disgusting here in my country to help my nokia cz no one have any idea about that phone so what should i do ?

That's a very good question... | Views: 365 | so far and no one seems to have a clue about this.....
There are a few options i guess

-You can send your device back to Nokia, did it last year but i was very lucky i think.

-You can try to repair it yourself

• If it is the cable, you can order it online, but is that the solution?
• If it is the screen, same...

-----But before you do that, you must be absolute sure it is....

-You can sell your N900 for spare parts and buy another used one.

It's your decision, can't help you on this one but wish u all the luck you need...
