Hi all,

Someone know where I can buy a BH-221 ?

See a video here ...

On a French site they talk about a recommended price of 59€ !!!

I bought it yesterday here in India for Rs. 3900 and its very good.
Couple of things I noted when I used it with N9 Vs 808.

1) When paired with N9 and listening to music. Track name doesnt show up on OLED screen. with 808 it does show up.

2) I was not able to use use next and back buttons to change tracks on N9. Again with 808, it worked.

except above 2 issues, which are minor , I think this is very good Bluetooth headset. NFC rocks !

@Tashi, I got Black. Always like to have black color in gadgets :)
Actually I noted good discussion on BH-221 on Mynokiablog where its product manager has also replied. Check this out too.
With N9 it has limitations like no track details shown, No contact name being shown. May be someone from tmo can hack it too :)

out of curiosity, has anyone tried Nokia Essence ?? they look mindblowing but i cant see to get them in Bahrain/Saudi arabia.

Essence has additional active noise cancelling and some clever analog audio trickery that makes your own voice not sound like it's coming from a tin can when you make a call. It's expensive, but very nice.

But it has no display.

I also thought of getting Essence but Nokia never released it in India, in fact I feel Nokia never wanted to sell it.
BH-221 misses Noise cancellation of Essence but has few points over it, such as 3.5mm jack so you can connect your own headsets even other bigger speaker set. It has very good OLED display, it has built-in FM radio,it is much cheaper.

the display doesnt works with nokia n9 (doesnt show track info) so its kinda useless

Yes, with N9 it doesn't support display of track details , also doesnt display caller name.
Actually this is because the way BT profiles implemented may be.

But I have also got 808 and X2-02 which work very well.
