So we know PR1.3 is coming, as largely a bug fix. Does anyone have any idea if a PR1.4 is planned? - I know you are secretly wondering too..

(Yes I know PR1.2 has only just released..).

"All that and more". I've read developer quotes about support continuining beyond PR1.3 . PR1.2 was a great update, and I would be very pleased if we saw some more feature updates and maybe even some more apps from Nokia. I believe we just might actually.

and as for 1.4 i wouldnt hold my breath since nokia shows how much it cares about n9 with actions like closing a bugtracker that existed for only 4 months....

With Inception, perhaps there will be an N9 CSSU in 6 months. You never know with this community! There are some clever buggers here! :)

It is unfortunate, but I was trying to remember how long the equivalent stayed open for Maemo5x?
I don't think it was very long either, it's still open now, but not for Nokia software, only community sw.

Still, bettering Maemo5x isn't much to be proud of, it was never meant to be a true commercial device like the N9.
It was always "step 5 or 6", always treated more as a learning exercise by Nokia, seems Nokia's not going to do much better for the N9.

In many ways (despite the stronger commercial push) the N9's had to face (& still does) more hurdles than the N900.
Now more than ever it seems the community will have to step-up, will it be able to, anyone's guess is as good as mine.

No, they won't dig out the backup tapes again for compiling another Maemo PR. Compiling PR 1.3.1 long after the doors were closed must have been fun. :D

As I said I know we are getting 1.3, I wondered if anyone knew anything about a possible 1.4. You arent the definitive source!

So we can conclude no more updates bar 1.4?? IF thats the case, yet again Nokia will have left its consumers in the dark, and misled us about the length of time of support. If this is the case I will again have been duped like I was with the N900 - this will most likely be my last Nokia sadly.
