is there any alternative for maemo/meego?

since i moved from n8 to n9, no i dont have phone that supports whatsapp...

and i really liked that app cuz of the group chats, file and location shareing... used it a lot for buissnes and with friends... So you can understand why normal chat option isnt good enough...


i also have n900 with different sim card... IS NITdroid only way to go?
not a fan of that option cuz nitdroid isnt fully functional, and meaemo just works better on n900...

Yeah, you have.

Whatsapp is proprietory horses crap.

If you need the comforts of the easy way then by all means please leave the cutting edge and the path less traveled to the rest of us.

Have you tried the Nokia Pulse? It can be downloaded from Nokia Beta Labs web page: http://betalabs.nokia.com/apps/nokia...o_passive=true

It's not perfect but I think it works quite nicely.

Can you please do a search first? You would know that there's an unofficial whatsapp port being developed for maemo right now..

Hadn't picked up on this one before but it certainly looks interesting.
