[Announce] ToggleAvailability
 

Wouldn't it be great, instead of clicking three times to change your chat online/offline, to just click one icon to switch between your chat accounts online or offline?

Well, I thought so, and wanted such an app, so here I am sharing it for those who have similar needs. Couple this little application with MeMoves and your online status is just a small swipe away! "All it takes is a swipe" and all that.

thanks, mate... btw, any chance of You to make Toggle internet connection app? (no flight mode, just data connection on/off, voice/sms to stay on)

It is a bit easier to install than unrestricted-system-ui :). But it's true unrestrictive-system-ui takes much of the pain away in toggling accounts. And many other things.

But now some real information: I recently updated ToggleAvailability (bug fix) to Nokia store. But at least I had much trouble getting it to update. If you experience the same, uninstall old version and then install again.

Not relevant? Have you ever tried it with MyMoves? One quick gesture, even at lock screen, and you are online or offline.

It has also a different scope than PresenX, one is a menu toggle, the other one a status menu plugin. Anyway, more choice is always better in my opinion.

The main disadvantage of the application - you can not choose which account to withdraw online. Included are all at once, and it is bad

it is not bad at all...if you are going for a meeting or whatever and want to go offline you can do it all at once in one gesture from the lockscreen itself...

however, if you feel it is irrelevant or bad and has disadvantages, why don't you contribute something better instead of criticising other devs' works?

this feature came out much before the status bar toggles so respect that before digging up an older thread to criticise...

It's not irrelevant, and if anyone has been watching the ****storm of people trying to figure out inception -> unrestricted system ui -> MT toggel versions, versioning compatibilities with PR1.3, incorrect libs with broken dependencies, and curt questions and answers across several different threads, it is quite refreshing to see something else released through a formal channel even if it is not as feature complete.

No disrespect to Coderus or MohammadAG with that either, as I incredibly appreciate their efforts, but it's refreshing to see other people make attempts and distribute via the store for non-power users, and it shouldn't be discouraged.
